Can you cook Pasta in a microwave

I have just moved and dont have a cooker yet. I wondered if any of you have ever cooked Pasta in a microwave, and if so, what is the best way??

Yes. Most packets of dried pasta give instructions for microwave cooking. Funnily enough I cooked pasta in the microwave last night as I only wanted enough for my pasta salad lunch today. For 3ozs of pasta I put in a large bowl and cover with boiling water then cook in the microwave for approx 8 min (Cat D) (stirring halfway through), then drain.
i always cook my pasta in the micro it stops the kitchen getting all steamed up, i also do all my veg in micro.
nothing like real food LOL

I usually cook a load of pasta in one go then freeze it in small portions. When you want some, put it in a colander or sieve & pour BOILING water over it. You may have to do this twice.
