Fabrics : Tartan, leopard print (best in accessories like bags and shoes unless you like to stand out a lot)
Bags : HUGE bags or little patent clutches for evening
Clothes : Short sweater dresses with leggings and knee boots. "Boyfriend" jeans, so baggy looking, or skinny fit is still in for the smaller ladies.
Grey is the IN colour for clothes this Aututm/Winter, and looks great with patent bright shoes or bags.
Any boots are always fashionable in the colder months, heeled or flat - you can't really go wrong. Riding boots are back again too.
Can you tell I've been reading fashion mags a lot today?

I find "Happy" is the best magazine for trends as it is just about fashion and shopping. Its quite new and reasonabley priced, plus they have a good selection of high street and designer too.
I get a few issues of "In Style" per year when I need something to pass the lunchtimes at work. Good for ideas although most of the things they have are too expensive.
I get "Heat" every week but its not much of a fashion mag, they do have the top trends though.
Very rarely I buy Vogue or Elle except when I'm really bored at work because they are expensive and have too many adverts.
I bought Grazia this week for the first time and there were a few good ideas in there for the price.
Check out ASOS.co.uk for what the celebs are wearing - they have clothes and accessories as seen on many celebs and its really reasonably priced too. They have a good sale on at the moment.

If wearing little shorts - wear with cream wool tights to keep you warm. I would only wear with flats though otherwise that would be a little OTT with high heels.
There are some great little ankle boots in Primark this season, and only 12 per pair instead of 60+ in most shops. They can make your feet look big if you don't have little feet in the first place though so knee-length could be a better option and would last more than one season. But at 12 you can't go wrong.
