I live in KY can I move my butterfly bush in the fall or should I wait till spring?

Hi, I'd be inclined to move it in the fall, its fairly dormant at this time, seeing that the correct time to prune Buddleia is in march, pruning and moving may be too much of a shock if you wait til spring. Good Luck Tbird+
Agreeing with Thunderbird, however adding that there's fall and there's fall... meaning, I'm familiar with your part of the U.S. and you won't expect a killing frost (normally) until November some time, while here in the western U.S. (at 5,000 feet above sea level) we can have one any time now. Having said that, make sure your bush is firmly into dormancy. Leaves should be shed, for the most part, and the tips of the branches will break off if bent much. Don't over fertilize just before dormancy, by the way... best of luck!
