Safe Email Going To Junk

Emails from one of my contacts continues to go to junk no matter what I do. I use Outlook and I have made the sender a contact, a trusted sender and any senders from that domain. Others from the same domain get through.
I'm in the habit of checking my junk now as we're in regular contact but I forget when I'm using my phone.
What more can I do?

Assuming that the sender is a friend, relative or other personal contact (rather than, say, a big business), ask them to change their IP address by simply removing the power to their router, waiting for a minute or two and then powering it back up again.

As an alternative (in order to check whether it is an IP address problem), you could ask them to send you an email while they're using a public wi-fi connection (in, say, a supermarket) or from their phone when it's NOT using their home wi-fi connection. If that email doesn't get sent to your Junk folder, you'll then know that it's definitely an IP address problem.
PS: Problems with blacklisted IP addresses can occur when someone is using a VPN, which assigns a common IP address to many thousands of users. If just one of those users sends millions of spam emails through that VPN, all of the other users could experience problems with sending emails because the recipients' email services have blacklisted the address.
If the sender of the misdirected emails is using a VPN, ask him/her to switch to using a different IP address through that VPN.

so it boils down you have to check
relative was invited to stand for alphaville planning and wd have been elected ( think about that one) but it ended up in spam for way past the election date

Thanks Chris. The sender is working from home for a small business. The email address is [email protected]. All other people using this domain get through to me fine, and name@ also gets through to other people fine. If it were a blacklisted IP address would this still be the case?
I guess the sender is using a personal laptop, rather than a business one, and knowing the person well, they are unlikely to access emails from their phone or be willing or able to log in from a public wifi to test this.
Since its only me experiencing this, there is little sympathy or interest in solving it!
Can you help me double double check my settings?

When you say that you're using Outlook, do you mean that you've got an email address ending in Outlook.com or that you're using the Outlook email client (which can be used with any email address)?
If it's the former, I'm stumped. If it's the latter, perhaps something here might help?
