I saw this clip on the news earlier. I think it's genuine.

So whilst over 4000 covid patients lost their lives in a single day and 300k more new infections were recorded all he was interested in was whipping up chaos and enjoying the scenes of destruction with his family and friends.

The video looks genuine but surely it's prior to the rally that Trump and his son addressed, meaning it was prior to the riot?

Corby...thats what the Newsweek article says, and as that's a trusted publication* I'd believe their analysis. It does look authentic, and I've no doubt the mood would be just as jovial if they were watching the actual riots. They certainly were not dismayed at what they were seeing.
* or was back in the day when I read it.

I heard Trump's son refer to the live stream being about to start so that was a bit of a giveaway.
