I can't see any manufacturers name anywhere. I've tried just pressing the buttons and can't seem to get anything except a 30 second interval.
Any assistance greatly welcomed.

Has it ever worked properly? If so, try unplugging it. That might clear the current setting loop it seems to be in

I suggest you look for a label on the back giving the model number. 23L just means it has a 23 litre capacity - as do 100s of others!
