Youtube Question

I've been going through my YouTube videos to try to disable the comments. I've been through each one (settings-default settings-advanced settings-comments) and changed them to not allow comments, and saved the settings. But they don't seem to have worked! Is there a way to just do this for all the videos on the channel?

That should disable comments on all new videos you post. Scroll down to the next section, and see 'Bulk edits' to change the setting for existing videos.

Question for Buenchico:

You Tube allows me to create a comment but doesn't seem to save it. Any ideas, please?

EdmundD: I've had plenty of my comments on Youtube videos disappear for no apparent reason too. Most people suggest that the problem seems to lie with over-zealous censorship by Youtube's automatic filtering system (e.g. https://www.quora.com/Why-do-my-replies-on-YouTube-disappear-a-few-seconds-after-posting-the-comment ) but I can never see what it is that I've done wrong!

Thanks Buenchico- it's still not working though. If I visit the channel whilst signed into another account, I can still leave a comment :/

Now I can see my comments!!

I've done it this way: Go to studio/ click on content / select the videos you want to change using a tick / click on edit (black banner) / comments / from there you can choose to disable etc.
