Pulsatile Tinnitus
8 Answers
I’ve had tinnitus in my left ear since about 2008. In the last two months I’ve had this condition which means I constantly hear my heart beat in this ear, nothing in my right ear.
I’ve looked it up on Google but does anyone know if I should report it to my doctor? TIA.

From what you have said, it is no big deai.
It is quite common for patients particularly older patients, to hear blood surging through a blood vessel in the inner ear.
There are rare conditions that can cause these symptoms, ut very rare and in your case you have had an MRI scan.
Nothing much can be done other than learning to live with it.
No need to see your GP.
