This year however we're not so lucky. I have collected a few things together so far for them both, all small and lightweight such as silk scarf I painted myself, some jewellery I made myself, I just generally keep my eye out for small or at the very least lightweight items I can send as presents for them. I will probably be posting it soon and send it via landmail so will take a few weeks to get to them but is cheaper.
If your stuck on things to send that aren't too heavy or bulky, there's always things such as notelets, t-towels of place your living, soft toys, small games etc..
Hope I've been of some help :o)

I send a lot of parcels abroad with Ebay and as long as they are not too heavy you can send almost anything you like. Clothing is quite light and its less likely to be something a person in another country could buy for themselves.
You can check the price of any weight for an item on the Royal Mail website

I have a friend in America who I send birthday and Christmas presents to but only light things, and thing that don't cost a lot, eg calendar, jewellery, a bag etc I've already bought her Christmas present which is ornaments for her Christmas tree, a postbox and a telephone box and something else, but those padded material ones (she loves anything 'British').
