As I landed on the bottom of the tank I was grabbed from behind and garotted. I woke up immediately with a strong sense that I had lived through something real. I'm sure that I was wrong; but it was very distufbing - I've never had such a vivid dream before or since.
What I find interesting is when people are drawn inexplicably to a time period that they have no knowledge of. I once taught a blind girl who became obsessed with the Mediaeval Baebes, Lord of the rings and that whole era. She had never seen anything, and her parents certainly knew nothing about history. It just really spoke to her,And she even looks like someone from that era too. I think it’s interesting that no music really spoke to me until I heard music from 1968 to 70, and then I felt like I had to come home. I wasn’t even born then. Similarly, my stomach turns over whenever I see a photograph of A street scene in 1885 – I always think I’m going to see myself there. I wear long black clothes, always have done. It just feels right to me. Another interesting thing, my sisters and I wear a lot of Indian clothes – everything I wear has been made in India. I don’t know why we are drawn to India, but ever since we were teenagers we have bought Indian clothes. I found out Recently from doing genealogy that my great grandfather was Indian – my dad is 15% Indian. I don’t know about past lives, but a connection to the past for no apparent reason is certainly an interesting thing.
