Have even got Mme LeMarchand hooked. They're almost as good watching them while knowing what will happen - you can appreciate all the foreshadowing and little hints even better. Probably start on "Firefly" once we run out of B5's.
You might think my taste is a bit suspect woofgang as I've been watching 'Willo the Wisp' (I love Evil Edna and Mavis Cruet!) and also the complete 'Bagpuss'. Next will be 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' and 'Brief Encounter' followed by 'Snow White' and 'Remains of the Day' . Oh, 'Finding Nemo' is also waiting to be viewed!
Cetti...Will O' the Wisp was fab! I loved the Moog - which begs the question, was he a cow-dog cross? I kind of thought that when I was younger...think that was mostly cos his name suggested it. Bagpuss is just great, even today. Finding Nemo brilliant too...each time I watch it, there's something else to enjoy. I thought Monsters Inc was great, but think Nemo beats it. I watched The Big Lebowski again recently, love it to bits. Re the D-Day anniversary...I watched a repeat of Band of Brothers last week. I know it was American made...but using the real guys who actually took part in the landings to add commentary at the end....wow, that was really powerful and moving. You can still barely imagine what it must have been like.
