(Same As Wolf63 Q) - Is This Site Legitimate?
14 Answers
Please can I also ask a question, similar to the one Wolf63 has just asked about a selling site being legit or not.

I ordered something at the beginning of August last year and I still have not received it yet. I've emailed the company numerous times but all they say is 'they've checked with their supplier and item is on its way, but is taking longer due to the pandemic'.
They do not respond to any of my messages whenever I mention having a refund.
I'm not sure what else to do.
Many thanks.

Ah, just seen, Bulgaria apparently. The terms and conditions don't look promising!

The Pushsaga.com domain name was only registered on 22 June last year, so they'd not been around long when you placed your order. (Possibly worrying).
The domain name registrant's details were kept secret, using the 'Contact Privacy' service. Legitimate companies don't need to use that service. (Worrying).
There are no contact details for the company apart from the email address. There's a reference to 'Sofia, Bulgaria' but no postal address. (Worrying).
The service is hosted by Shopify, which is a perfectly legitimate ecommerce website but, which just like eBay and Amazon Marketplace, means that you're possibly dealing with a poorly run company or perhaps a one-man business. Further, Shopify doesn't seem to offer the same sort of buyer protection that eBay and Amazon Marketplace do. (Potentially worrying).
There seem to be absolutely no reviews for the company on the main independent websites (such as TrustPilot), suggesting that it's had very few customers. However it's showing as 'Suspicious' on ScamAdviser, based upon a single comment from someone who seems to have lost their money there:

Just found this too: https:/ /www.sc amadvis er.com/ check-w ebsite/ pushsag a.com
I've only had a quick scan over the terms of service as I'm trying to get myself ready for bed but they are vague and seemingly trying to deny liability/accountability.

A lot of firms which use Shopify work on the 'drop shipping' model, where they hold absolutely no stock at all but simply forward orders to a wholesaler to despatch, on their behalf, directly to customers.
Those wholesalers are most commonly based in China, with some being reliable but others failing to send out the goods that have been ordered. So all 'drop shippers' need to be viewed with suspicion, as they have little control over the quality and delivery of the goods that they've accepted orders for.
I can't be certain that Pushsaga is a drop shipper but the limited, but eclectic, range of products on their website suggests that it might well be the case. Reputable companies generally specialise in selling clothing, jewellery, electronic goods or whatever but it's hard to put a label upon what Pushsaga actually sells!
