I wonder - I really do - what could possibly be going on under such a roof? It's probably a growing problem, and one that we could warm to.

I know the police helicopters use their heat imaging camera to look for "warm" roofs when returning to base.

They just wait to be notified of abnormal increases in electricity usage. We had a farm in one of the flats in our sheltered housing block. Grandson forced grandad to live in one room while he set up in the rest of the flat.

Just looked at our roof, still snow on roof which I'm surprised about ...... wait for it, attic has been converted.

Aunt Mary once tried to grow grass in a pot, but all she got was a weed. What a dope! Then she tried broccoli, but that was a bomber, so she made a hash of that one. We had to be blunt with her, and so she turned it into ashes under the bobo bush. Now she's trying a herb of some sort, and we think that that might just boom.

that can happen to anyone who hasn't had their attic insulated. You can tell by the number of birds standing on it too.

jno, narrows down the field down a bit I suppose. But if TV programmes are to be believed, most busts come from "intelligence" or being dobbed in by a rival.

Well, the house we used to own was..... a cannabis factory.

in a good and decent area and the neighbours had no idea!

It came to light when the cops were in a helicopter chasing a hit and run with infrared....well house lit up like a Christmas tree,

The first things that the neighbours knew was when cops arrived! It was a detached house, with trees blocking nosy views with direct access into the woods so I guess it was perfect.

The neighbours said that they always presumed the Chinese looking owners just kept to themselves (actually they were Vietnamese it turned out )

we were the first owners after the raid....(got it cheap obviously)

It was the smell that did for the lads here, we used to get half stoned going out to the bins.

There was a house down the road that was growing canabis, old lady, being cared for by her son and daughter in law.
When Police arrived it was mayhem for a little while, then all the equipment came out, there was a lot for a two up two down.
