After being so excited earlier that I had a date for my jab, my GP has just phoned to say I can't have it! It seems that all this week, it will be the Pfizer vaccine , and because she wants me to have the Astrazeneca one, I have to wait until they get it. It could be next week, or the week after, it depends on which one gets delivered. I'm absolutely gutted now.

Can you ask to go further afield Barsel? OH had the Oxford AZ jab at our local Vaccination Hub , while a local friend had the Pfizer one at her surgery. The Oxford is easier to store so being sent to the newly created hubs in sports centres, cathedrals and the like. It might be worth asking your surgery where your nearest is.
