Paparazzi photos of prison lorries

On the news you always see photographers trying to take pictures of suspects through the tinted glass of the prison vans as they arrive at court, so why do you never see these photographs printed in the newspapers? If they just don't come out, why do they bother in the first place?

Kitty i understand wha you mean tho, you don't see a picture every time of a person in the van invariable because they don't come out - often the photographer will hold up the camera in the hope of getting the shot but the angle might be wrong or the person is in a different section.
