not sure if this is in the right place, but I heard there is a pasanger ship being built thats a mile long, anyone know if this it true

Its sort of true - there's a blue print to build a floating city with school, police etc - however as with all such projects it requires substantial backing, which is sadly lacking at the moment.

Google for 'freedom ship'. It is not a passenger ship, but more a floating housing complex.
I don't think it is quite one mile long though. More like 4.500ft.
