Wednesday.
Frost on the cars again, but the sky is blue and the sun will be up shortly. Wonderful. It's just coming over the hilltop now.
I've made up for two sleepless nights, so I'm a tad late this morning. Feeling a lot better though.

i don't have central heating, but a electric fire for the main room.

Smow you need to get an engineer in soonest, yes, it will cost, but it's better than hospital or worse!

is your heating down/off then smow, can't be doing with that in this

Boiler packed up late last night. It started making a really odd noise bout 9pm and Mr Smow said he thought it would pack up and sure enough bout 11pm i realised all radiators were freezing, after Mr Smow had gone to bed, and it had indeed. Will make some calls shortly - just waiting for Mr Smow to wake up and look at it incase there’s something obvious he can do to sort it.

I haven't looked outside yet. If it's bad OH usually phones me, like I might have planned a day out or something!!

I have gas central heating, it's in every room and the hall. I rarely close the internal doors, so the temperature is constant throughout the bungalow.

I don't mind the cold. I just put a blanket over me.

i only have heating in one room, as that's sufficient, the flat is quite warm generally, but in this weather even i have felt the cold...

Morning, Boaty, glad you're feeling so much better. It's a 'glad to be alive' day here at the moment, little snow glistening in the morning sun, blue sky......but very cold. I'm not going out if I can help it!
