All recycling centres in Suffolk are still open

Got a huge gift bag of goodies from Hotel Chocolat for my birthday and I'm waiting til Saturday to open it. This halo does give me a headache though.

Walked the dog in the rain. Then went for the main weekly shop (only 1 sanitising station open and a chap was pushing us to hurry (literally)). After that lunch, a short dog-walk up the hill to the church to leave a donation for the food-bank, then back home. OH had a nap (still suffering from reaction to Pfizer vaccine) while I caught up with my local press duties reporting what is (isn't) happening. Then I rang a chair-bound 92 yr-old villager (I chat to her once a week to keep her in touch), by then OH was downstairs and took dog for evening walk.
When he got back I started making dinner. Enthralling, isn't it?

Well, today I cleaned the dishwasher using one of those plastic bottle thingies with a wax cap that you up end in the cutlery basket. God, the cycle seemed to take an age. Still, it was lovely to see the stainless steel sparkling and smell the fresh lemony smell on opening the door. Oh, I could have screamed!!
