how can i stop slugs getting on my rabbits food? we have tryd salt

Have you tried putting it in a sealed container? or are we talking about the food in the rabbits dish? if so use slug pellets outside the cage, put cage on an elevated stand and if necessary wrap tin foil around the legs of the stand. this should keep the lugs at bay and remember if using slug pellets, about 4 pellets a week should control them, you don't need hundreds of pellets strewn around the place.

thanks we will try using foil,dustys hutch is elevated a three story building,his bowl is on the second floor,

If the foods in the cage, you could put Copper tape around the base, that'll stop them.

sorry ratter the foil did not work slugs went over salt and foil,clever slugs around here?
