It makes me so cross. Just in the last half hour, coming to work, I passed loads of mums out with their children, walking or pushing prams etc and all mums on their mobiles. They should be talking to their children NOT on their phones to friends etc.I was always chatting away to my son in his pushchair all the time even when he was old enough to go on the back of my bike. I`d chat to him. probably looked as though I was talking to myself from bystanders.
Then I turned into a road where someone on their phone just stepped out in front of me. He was completely oblivious of the world around him.Looked at me as though it was my fault I`d nearly run him down. Lucky I wasn`t a car. Some of these people could easily get attacked as they are not aware of whats going on behind them when they are on their phone. Ive even seen cyclists texting whilst riding. How can they ride safely. AND still motorists on phones. Makes me so angry !!!

I´m with you on this one
Hang on ... I'm just finishing a text message ...
I could not agree more, honestly, I know they are useful but I feel like they have taken over! My daughter waits till I put the tea in front of her then spends the whole meal eating one handed and chatting on her phone or texting - I could scream. We have so many arguments about it, it's SO antisocial. I've grabbed it off her before now and thrown it across the room.
" I've grabbed it off her before now and thrown it across the room. "

Or, as you put on the insurance claim form ...

"The handset accidentally slipped out of my hand"
^^^^^ lol @ joggerjayne
I've noticed young ladies are always on their phone. Anyone ever asked what they are texting about?
Pips...Have you thought about banning phones at meal times? Mine would dream of picking theirs up once I'd served a meal. That's just bad manners.
TTG ...

Young ladies text about ... boys !!

Duuuhh !!!!!

LOL
uummm I've tried that, but she's 25!! Spose it's my fault for still cooking tea but she works long hours and it just works easier for me to cook for all of us. If you saw her try and cook you'd agree, lol.
