Search for a credit union in your area here:

Don't be deterred by the requirement to fill in your employer's postcode and the nature of your work. I just tried that search facility myself by entering my own postcode in both of the first two fields, entering 'unemployed' into the third one and leaving the fourth one blank. It still seemed to work and I found a credit union based in a nearby town.
