Colour Switching Sweets
4 Answers
My earliest memory is talking to the boy next door over the garden fence. He was sucking on one (or more) round sweets, smaller than gobstoppers but larger than aniseed balls. 'What colour would you like?' he asked me. Almost any colour I suggested he would produce from his mouth. One or two were not possible, probably black for example. Was this possible in the early 1950s or is this all a product of my imgination? I was about four years oldcat the time.
