Facebook Problem

Does anyone know how to stop this happening? If I type a name in a post it automatically fills in a name with a tag, usually the wrong one. I can correct it by deleting the name and retyping but it is a nuisance.
Any ideas?

If you just keep typing what you intended the auto suggestion will disappear once you enter a different letter to what it expects.

Thanks, chelle, but that is to stop other people automatically tagging me in photos. I already have that set.
The auto suggestion doesn't disappear in the scenario I refer to - let's say I'm answering your post. I want to type, 'thanks, chelle' but it posts 'thanks chelle smith' - a totally different person.

Barry I was getting that on my outlook/email - but have managed to get it off. I hated it. Kept me back.

I usually put a comma after the word that is okay. This prevents the computer from tagging.
