My son & his wife have been living in Dublin for a year. if I want to send gifts like flowers or wine, I find it increasingly hard to find a website like Amazon who will deliver.
Can anyone recommend a website??

I always use Marks and Spencers for flowers, chocolates and wine in England and find them very reasonably priced and giving a good service. You could see if they have a branch in Dublin.
If you want to send flowers or wine etc, I'd Google a local shop and use their website instead of using an order gatherer from here. My SIL lives in Dublin, so you want me to ask her for recommendations?
do, not so
Many firms based in Great Britain will no longer send goods to either Northern Ireland or to the Republic, as a result of Brexit.

Your best option would probably be to order from a firm which is based in Ireland, such as

https://flowers.ie

https://www.thecorkscrew.ie
this classy lot are in Dublin.... https://www.thecorkscrew.ie/

My cousin runs an import business over there so if you have issues, let me know and I can send him an e-mail

Rocky, I would be ever so grateful.

Thanks Dtc! Just what I wanted and noted.

Dtc, if I wanted to send someone a bottle of Gran Marnier can your cousin do this????
they only handle wines, Sharon, as does the Corkscrew.....believe your solution could be https://www.obrienswine.ie/search?q=gran%20marnier

DTC's link is the same one that I would, in the first instance, have offered to you.

These look a bit dearer but I've not checked out the delivery charges for each site. They might be cheaper overall:

Sharon, what area is it that you need delivery?
Question Author
Dublin D13 Howth.
Sharon. We now use O'Briens wine post Brexit and they are fantastic. Very good and quick delivery. If you go with them look for their special offers. Keeping us stocked up nicely with excellent wines....and the rest!

Another I would highly recommend when you want something special is shopinireland.ie. Perhaps not what you are looking for just now but well worth keeping in mind for special and unusual gifts.

Thanks Chris & Gness. All suggestions taken on board.

Dtc will Order from o'briens. Thanks all for help.
Flipping Brexit.
Good decision, Sharon...and do look at offers.
As they are in howth - set up an online ac with Supervalu and get the wine there and get it delivered to them (or whatever else you need)
