Picked some jonquils and scented daffs from the garden yesterday. Try not to pick too many as it is so much warmer indoors than out and they soon lose their beauty. However, they are so bright and cheery I might have to go and get a few more. There are so many varieties just dotted everywhere. I am so lucky.

flowers don't live long in my flat, due to in part my inability to look after them, or at least they might last a week, i have dried flowers and silk style ones for decoration.

That sounds nice emmie. do you have a colour theme or just anything?

yes overall colour scheme in living is dusky pink curtains, carpet, and flowers are lilac, purple for one pot, and the others hold gold and red flowers.

The image given is really nice emmie. I've got a lot of white and pale yellow as they show off paintings and ceramics.

i chose the colour for the walls some time ago now, it used to have flock dark wall paper up there, but once i got the decorators in
they stripped all that off, it was then painted a pink colour, much brighter than it sounds. and i coordinated that with a chesterfield sofa and chair in aubergine chenille material. works well
