Over the past few weeks, I am getting a daily amount of emails from various addresses claiming that they have rejected an email I have sent them. I have never heard of the recipients and have not sent them emails.

Do I have a bug or a trojan or something similar?

I have run the latest version of AV and that found no viruses.

Your email address has made its way onto a spam list somehow - could be from a web forum, or a website subscription. In either case, the spammers are using your email address as the return address, and the rejections get bounced back to you.

The people 'bouncing' them don't realise that the replies go somewhere else, and often do this in good faith, thinking that if email to their address appears to be rejected that will remove them from the spam list.

It's best just to delete them.

So is there any way I can stop this without losing my domain name?
