Yesterday was a complete waste of a day. All the way to Gloucester Royal Hospital, for a jab that could have been done at my local surgery.
Whinge over. :o}

No idea what it's like outside at the moment, I'm cosy indoors so that will do for me!
I don't think I have anything on for today, that suits me fine. I'll have to go out to collect mmy paper, but that's it...I think!
Have a happy day everyone.

morning all. Hospital ringing me today.
morning LJ, anything serious?
Jens doing ok thanks emmie, she is bipolar so is having massive mood swings at the moment, will be tearful one moment and bright as nine pence a bit later. Hospital cannot arrange a CT scan of her brain, will have to be done as an outpatient at one of the hospitals in Leicester.
Morning LJ
sorry to hear that tony, hopefully better days are onthe horizon, if she can get her scan what will that be for?
Sounds as though Jen is slowly getting there Tonyv. That's good.

Just to see if they can do anything to sort my heart out emmie or whether it is better to leave it as it is.
did you say before you had Atrial Fibrillation... is that what the call is about, if so i hope you get it sorted soon.
yes that's right emmie. No one seems to be particularly bothered about it (started pre-civud) so I suppose it is not that important.
Jens heart is not working at 100%, which we have known for some time, for example if she has been sitting for a while when she stands up she needs to let blood flow equalise otherwise she will fall over.
its pretty important to you LJ.. perhaps they are going to help you after all.

tony thats not good..

Is that to do with her blood pressure Tonyv?

I get a bit concerned when the pain wakes me in the middle of the night and I have difficulty in breathing or if it happens when I am sitting quietly - reading, sewing, etc. Could understand it if I was heaving sacks of coal around..
they should be helping you LJ, at least an appointment at the hospital, though i guess many of us have to live with things currently, that do need some intervention.
They did offer me an appointment once at Derriford. After much making of phone calls I found they wanted to do an ecg. I pointed out I could have one at local surgery or even travel to Treliske with results sent but to drive for nearly 3 hrs for an ecg and then drive back would be a bit ott. This was in December 2019. Now they have got back in touch.
i hope it works out for you LJ.
