Just done ours online to get it out of the way, did only take 25 mins for the both of us. I don't mind doing but with the underhand threat of a £1000 fine I felt less obliged.

what astounds me is that 1841 it cost the councils such a lot of money that when they ordered the books to be destroyed virtually all the councils decided to hang onto the returns and store them
and it is confidential, 1971 they prosecuted a returns officer who dobbed in benefits dodgers - I think he did time
