Indeed, Maydup. And if the power goes and we go to bed early, having moved all the cushions, he'll be miffed if I start crocheting with the illuminated crochet hooks.... :-)

I have just one cushion on the bed during the day.
I use it too when going to sleep. I tuck it under my arm and hug it. It is very comforting.

I confess to having cushions and a runner, but only on the bed in the guest bedroom. Ooops, I lie,,,I have them on the bed in my craft room too, but not in my own bedroom.

When OH was in hospital he often had a pillow between his legs, put there by nurses - why?

They are now selling wedge shaped pillows to put between your legs.
Supposed to be nore comfy, and help with spinal alignment.

During my time as a decorator, i have often found it quite strange that while some folk have that 'lived-in' look going on in their living rooms, their beds are festooned with cushions galore; some shaped like love hearts, some square, some lozenge shaped. Every colour under the sun, some with animal prints, some with messages on, satin, corduroy, etc. And the bedrooms are so spick and span, you would hardly believe that any nocturnal activity (sleeping or awake) ever took place in there. Just plain weird.

Oh believe it ,Ken. Nocturnal activity of the wide awake kind can take place in a bedroom full of cushions.... ;-)
