I hope you will all excuse this genuine question.  I'm aware of the debate over whether homosexuality exists in animals.  However, do any other animals partake in recreational sex or masturbaton?

yes!!! my mum has a russel x terrier called amber (female) and everytime she comes into season she sits on her dog bed and rubs her paw between her legs and starts humpin her own leg. its very funny to watch, and she goes all shy and bashful. my mum tries not to encourage her by tellin her 'stop masterbating u mucky cow'

also my auntie has a big dopey dog called george and he is a homosexual, he will never go near the lady dogs as he is scared of them, but as soon as he sees a male dog he goes straight up to them and sniffs and flirts then tries to mount them. usually ending up with the other dog getting angry and snarlin

Anyway, I was trying to say that when I went to Chester Zoo last year, there was a male chimp happily receiving oral sex from what I hope was a female chimp.

Lots of cries of 'What's that monkey doing, daddy?' could be heard and lots of red faces could be seen as they tried to explain to their kids exactly what they were doing!

OMG, I never saw the chimps do that when I went to Chester zoo! Saw them flashing their genitals to the public and running off laughing a lot though, plus one old chimp insisted on sitting down and spreading his butt cheeks over one of the baby chimp's face all the time. Poor l'il baby, I thought it was going to suffocate! I think chimps are quite disgusting creatures really. My sister loves them, but I just don't see the attraction myself.
