let me clarify - the juries are now being selected for a trial to begin on 29 th innit. Very slow - and not seen here - so it has fewer lessons for us. All we get is - "punters stand up if you know the defendant!" whereas the americans go thro all sorts of lah-dee-dah
the idea of "shush shush let justice take its course" is rolling back here. The GMC tried to have the Beeb committed for contempt for comments on its case. The nub being that the GMC is a court
and ( AG ref no 2 R v BBC ex p GMC) surprisingly the high court said: not a court of record and no jury - so people can blaaart!

A lot more comment over PC Wayne Couzens than I am used to seeing. Times Change ...... it was the best of times and the worst of times ....
