Re number 60, “but the winger is in demand for international (4)”, I have an answer which is a simple hidden word. I can’t believe it’s right though because a) there isn’t an indicator that the answer is hidden in one of the words and b) it means that the words “demand for”are completely redundant. So, do I have the wrong answer or is it just a very poorly written clue?
I would go with it.
The indicator is " is in"
The bird "is in" international - but that doesn't make sense, so the clue is padded a bit more with "demand for"
The bird is in "demand for international"
41. Just to add to the confusion, There is a bird called trumpeter hornbill.
Can I have clues for the following:
8. Turning head when surprised, wife ready outside, to kiss lovingly (7)
82. Billy draws over grotesque pottery creatures (5,5)
70. Non- Christians from India leave spectacles in toilet (7)
Thanks
