Unwanted Photos On Computer

Pictures/photos that I see on webpages that I'm browsing transfer themselves to my Photos
Folder. I am using Windows 10.Why does this happen & how can I stop it? I'm so fed up with finding politicians, volcanos erupting, and celebrities among photos of my children and family.Can anyone help please?

sounds like you activated some sort of browser setting, what browser are you using?

It's a new one on me - and Mr Google doesn't seem to be helping much either!

However, as TTT suggests, it would appear to be linked to your web browser. Resetting your browser to its 'out of the box' settings might solve the problem or simply switching to a different browser. So which one are you currently using?

I think that you may have set up your microsoft account to auto save screenshots, Photos, and documents to a one Drive account. You may have to disableauto save in one drive . Give me a mo to have a look around.

click on the One Drive icon in the task bar(a little cloud bottom right)
in the menu that pops up click on settings(little cog wheel logo)
Settings again and in the new box look for the "backup" tile.
click that and uncheck the autosave box .
