"new Chic" Online Fashion Store

I have seen quite a few summer items (mostly ladies' tops) on this site which I'd really like to have for the summer months. But am reluctant to put finger to keyboard - and credit card to payment page - before I make a few enquiries about their site. Has anyone out there shopped with them - are their products as nice as they seem - or am I going to get something completely different to the items I might order? Have seen some horror stories of online fashion buying and wanted to be sure. Hope you can help, cheers, Chox.

Looks like they are based in China with all the problems that entails.

Long delay for the stuff to arrive.

You may have to pay customs extra money on the goods.

Problems if you want to send the stuff back

Steer clear is my advice.

One thing, a supposed winter faux fur lined jacket, absolute rubbish as a jacket, outer fabric was an untreated printed cotton. The fur was a fluffy plush, makes a cosy cardigan though. Also sizes are very very small. You would need to go up at least two sizes from normal.

My guess is most of the ones saying how wonderful they are have been posted by members of their staff !

I'd stick with trusted companies from this country. Just about every high street shop does online selling now. You're bound to find something you'd like, without taking the risk of an unknown, possibly dodgy, site.

Thanks for all your feedback, folks. "Say no more ... " was my first thought on reading all your comments, so I will definitely be steering clear .... just as I am with "Wish", had one bad experience with them and won't be online shopping with them again. Appreciate all your comments, cheers, Chox.
