I was looking at pictures of my recent 7 month old granddaughter and she still has no hair on her head.
My boys had full head of hair when they were born. I know she won't be bald forever, but when does hair start growing???

They’re all different. I can’t think I’ve ever seen a bald one-year-old, so shouldn’t be too long for your granddaughter.
There's no set age really, and sometimes they grow some and then get bald patches for a while.

It will come in its own time.
I wouldn't worry, they are all different. I longed for my daughter to get hair but she remained with that baby fuzz until she was nearly 2. Now as an adult it's below her waist, long, thick, straight and the richest dark brown.
Up to about 2. She'll get some :-)
My daughter was bald until she was 18 months. By the time she was three she had her lovely thick hair in proper bunches
Some that are born with hair then lose it.
Our middle daughter was bald until she turned two, and then she grew fine fuzz that was so white it was invisible.

By three she had a full head of white blonde hair that lasted until she was in her teens

When we went to Morocco she caused a real stir in the village we went to, people came out of their houses to stare, and word traveled in advance so crowds were waiting in the street to gaze at her.

She was about nine
and thought all the attention was amusing.
I imagine Boris must have been through something similar :)
My daughter was born with shoulder length curly black hair, she was jaundiced and had black eyes. This caused some questions!!
She lost all the hair, eyes turned blue and jaundice vanished. Hair grew back blond and dead straight. Total different baby!
Pictures sometimes fail to pick up very light baby fuzz.

Yes, I know about hair changing colour as my middle son was born with light sandy brown hair and very curly. By 3 yrs it had turned much darker & straighter. People used to think he was a girl!!.
My first was born with ginger hair which was a real shock as I didn’t think there was any ginger in the family. Then it gradually disappeared in the first month to be replaced with very slight and very blonde which was so fine she looked bald until she was nearly two. By the time she got to high school it had darkened to mid brown.
Nowadays it varies between blue and purple!!!!!!
