I need to get a website for my fledgling freelance career, I need to keep costs to a minimum, want to be able to play audio files to users, display some photos and let people contact me. Where should I start?

Try www.uk2.net as they do some good deals on website registration.

They will give you 2Gbytes of webspace for about a fiver a month so they are quite cheap for storage too.

Displaying photos and playing audio files can all be done using HTML, if you want a contact form which users can fill in and then it emails you, then the easiest way is to use frontpage extensions as you can create the form using a wizard and then upload it.
