Can Any Of The Ab Bible Quoters Help Me?
179 Answers
I have a vague memory of Biblical quotes wherein Jehovah exhorts his chosen people to smite the Midianites and to destroy them and their cattle and their children and to spare only the women who please them so that they may do with them as they see fit.
I hope my memory is playing me false. Perhaps someone with more Biblical knowledge can put me right?

If by that you mean scientifically proven evidence, like an experiment in a test tube, which is what clown Dawkins wants, you may all have a long wait. //
If God created Man, and wants Man to worship him, which is fair enough, why bother otherwise, why is every one of his messages so oblique, confusing, and open to endless interpretations?
God could send an unequivocal message to Man in less than a heartbeat - but he apparently chooses not to do so.
If he is the all-powerful God that every Christian claims he is, and if he loves Mankind enough to sacrifice his Son to save it - ditto, then why not offer a sign and dispel the grievous and damaging doubt in an instant?

//Thomas Aquinas describes God as a "pure being"//
And???
So what?
I once (as an Evangelical) would have described God as love.
(Even a brief reading of the Bible told me otherwise)
So what if some crusty old man described God as a ''pure being'?
How is that relevant in 2021?
The mind truly boggles at superstition...

Whilst your mind is boggling, fasten your seat belt and get ready for a super dooper boggle, and consider the best that naturalistic science has to say about the origins of the universe, (there's a good boggle), life from non living chemicals, (boggle boggle boggle), and of course, the bonus boggle, evolution.
(Oh, my head is spinning with so much boggling).

The answer is an emphatic no, because you don't really want an 'answer' so asking such questions is disingenuous, only emphasises your prejudices and makes you look a bit silly and bigoted.
and Builder, don't try that on with Muslims, stick with the Christians of today, they are a soft target.
