So what gastro-treats are ABers enjoying or going to enjoy for supper/dinner this evening
Here - hand-foraged mussels from the Fal Estuary (Got enough for two meals x 4 people) so moules and frites. The shallots and garlic are chopped, so too the flat parsley. Homemade mayo in the fridge now - and the mussels cleaned up and have had 3 washes already. Just the cooking and the fries to do........
Wine in the moules, a small glass of 'Pheasant Gully', a M&S Sauv Blanc....plus some of their d-cream and excellent Nomandy cream when it comes to steaming them and the finishing.

The paste is made in a mortar and pestle. You literally pound everything down, from the chilli to the pandan leaves. Takes ages and it was bloody hot as I was in the rainforest. It's easier to just buy a jar of paste.
