My version but no measurements I'm afraid. Feeds two normal people or one DillyGent! Just omit the onion for Mrs T.
Fillet steak
oinion
sliced mushrooms
Tub of single cream
teaspoon of flour
half teaspoon of Colemans mustard
lemon juice
Fry the onion until see through then fry mushrooms. While that's cooking mix together the flour and mustard and add the cream slowly to get rid of all the lumps. Cut the fillet into matchmaker size pieces and add to the pan. Add a few splashes of lemon juice to the cream mixture and stir, don't worry it won't curdle, then stir this into the pan and make sure it is warmed right through. I serve this with plain white rice but I am sure it would go with anything. I top it off with a sprinkling of paprika. Yummy. Have to have it tonight now...
