Are you sure this is a Windows message ? If so, the message title bar should at least tell you which application or device is producing the error, and then you can start asking questions of the manufacturer as to proper installation, as it sounds like there's a problem with the system's recognition of the new device. If the message doesn't have a legitimate name or title, you may have picked up a virus or Trojan which is unable to operate as before as a result of the processor's changed port priorities following your device installation. Do Ctrl-Alt-Delete and choose Task Manager to see all running operations at the time of error. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
