Burnt Mouth what remedy

Having just put a piece of pizza in my mouth and finding the cheese was as hot as molten lead (or nearly !) I now have a huge blister in the roof of my mouth. Do I burst it ?

Don't burst it. The mouth is chock full of nasty bacteria that will gain entry to the raw flesh if you do. (These days they tell you not to stick a cut finger in your mouth for this very reason).The skin on the blister itself won't fully prevent this happening, as burned skin is permeable to bacteria, but it will slow them down. It may be best to see your doctor about it, as the burn could lead to blood poisoning - I had this happen once after burning my mouth on scalding soup.

I have done this many times, and i have always burst the blister, it wont stay intact anyway, but the mouths ability to heal is very quick, once my blister burst, it was a lttle sore, but next day fine. Dont worry about it.
