This may sound daft to some, plain stupid to others, but for myself it has been,as I have been working all the time with plenty of overtime and the pubs shut I have just paid off my mortgage a year and half early. Anyone else benefitted from it?

We have both worked full-time throughout so have not made any great home improvements like many have. Emotionally I've been down many times, I've only seen my daughter once in a year which is unheard of, not going on holiday has made me cry because IT IS a big deal to me and general anxiety has increased at times. I also worry that after being stuck at home for so long rot has set in and it will be difficult to find the motivation to do the things I didn't like to do so much - such as visiting in-laws for hours on end and going out to dinner with them.
Dave: // How anyone could think that just because they have amassed a nice nest egg and been able to do all their shopping from amazon from their armchair at home is any kind of positive I feel sorry for them.//
I feel sorry for those unable to knuckle down and 'carry on ' the best they can, looking for 'positives' in a very negative environment without whingeing about not being able to go down the pub and have a full and satisfying social life. Guess some people lack strength of character but we are all different, aren't we Dave?
