Have Chicken Quarters Gone Out Of Fashion?
16 Answers
You know what I mean - a breast and wing on the bone, skin on. I find these very useful and am having to chop up chickens myself as I can't get to my butcher at the moment. None of the supermarkets sell them but they were very popular years ago. Chopping them isn't a real problem but I'd rather buy the breasts and not have to use the legs.
Do chip shops still sell chicken like this?

You are talking about dismembered animals, and discussing which bits you prefer. These animals were bred to be fodder for humans, and not many humans feel any respect or empathy for these creatures (forgive the word, but it might appeal to christians who believe that god created them). Chickens are treated by those who breed and 'care' for them as 'product' to be kicked around or stamped on.
End of rant.

APG; I presume the constant misspelling of 'Atheist' is not meant to be an insult! :-)
You are quite right, I should avoid butting into conversations about such things - it doesn't cause me personal distress (I don't have my limbs torn off and fought over by animals) but it isn't too polite to remind people about uncomfortable thoughts.
Sorry. Live and let live.
