Contract Law Homework Help
6 Answers
hi,
so i have looked through all my notes thoroughly but we don't seemed to of covered this in class, but with contract law does it matter if a set date has been given?
So say somebody promises that I can buy their car for a set price and I have until 5th May to accept or decline the offer but they withdraw that offer before that date...are they able to do this or have they got to honour that date they said?
Thank you for taking the time to help even though it's probably a really obvious question!!

It should be under - - revocation of offer.
This is an essay question isnt it?
you basically cover the points made in other threads.
and include the post office cases where the contract is made when you post the letter, as it cant be revoked ( post man wont give you back the posted letter)
and good luck
