...to HM the Queen. This will not be one of her most happiest birthdays but I hope she can get some pleasure and satisfaction from the day as she turns 95.

I recall last year buying a birthday card for our/my daughter and having to write it 'from Mum' was my first first, very hard to write and very hard for her to receive, she didn't open it until I'd gone. It's the our/my, we/I that's difficult to get your head round and because of the lockdown I still don't know how I'll feel doing the things we did togather because they've been off-limits, the whole grieving process has been very stretched out.
Still, we old birds are tough, I'm sure HM will have some family around her, as a single household she can bubble!
