We had a God-Squadder drop a carton of milk off the ledge of his 3rd floor window of a Georgian building at Uni back in 1975 - caught a BCR fan with all the tartan flying..... At a formal dinner, the Warden rose, "I can not condone such behaviour and I would like the culprit to come forward. Otherwise, I will have to deduct 1p from your Hall account to cover the dry cleaning bill."

The Warden got a standing ovation.

I used to sell those silk BCR scarves back in 1974/5, it seemed so childish of the 14 year old kids worshipping the skinny pasty Rollers but I could empathise, I had worshipped The Monkees just a few years earlier
