DJ Hawkes if there’s one thing I’ve learnt on my time on AB , is never to react to piddling little things :0)
Ignore is the key word
As long as you don't disturb their nest you can do as you like. So you can't chop the trees down, or destroy the nest although to be fair pigeons aren't good nest builders and a good fart would destroy their 6 random stick monstrosity. I'd tie bits of foil to sticks near the hedge to discourage them but only after their young have fledged. (They may not actually be nesting there). Pigeons do NOTHING quietly.

Reacting is one thing, taking bags of no notice of how poor your grammar is after all these years is just careless , pull it together and try to come across as having some level of education. Or carry on as insipid, your choice .///

So you’re going with insipid, jolly good, carry on. Why try to become something you’re not.
Why let the trees grow so high? Did you ask your neighbors to cut them back?
Question Author
Luca, they belong to my neighbour not us , as to why he let them grow so high is anyone’s guess
Bobbi, we had 2 very tall Leylandi on our land and didn't realise that our neighbour had a problem with them. He came to see us and we came to an amicable solution. We shared the cost of getting them cut down. So I would suggest perhaps this might be an answer. Perhaps he will agreed to share any costs.
Question Author
Not sure as they are coming over above our fence on our decking APC and they’re covering 2/3rds of another neighbours green house roof as well ,that’s the neighbour over the back of us , I’m surprised he hasn’t said something to be honest , just seems this year we’ve lost at least half our outside sitting area to his trees
Bobbi, I understand that they are not your trees, but it may be worthwhile you offering to pay a share of the costs for getting them lopped. That is what our neighbour did for us when we had two trees on our land taken down because he had a problem with them. He offered, we didn't ask. Just a thought. If you went round and explained again and asked if you could help in ay way with cutting the hedge to a reasonable height, it would be neighbourly rather than complaining.
