Definitely not a cricket fan but, providing ALL players stick to their 'bubbles', are regularly tested and follow all the Covid guidelines, they should be fine. It's not as if they'll be allowed to go 'walkabout' through the streets of Delhi between matches. And i have read that there are alternate venues to Delhi in, which does appear to be the epicentre of this latest surge.
I also believe that each individual player will assess the risk of his own safety before taking part.
