septic tank friendly fabric conditioner

hi, have tried ecover but not making clothes smell fresh on cool wash, any suggestions for conditioner that will be ok for septic tank?

We have lived with a septic tank for 5 years now and when we moved in i asked the previous occupier what she used in the way of washing powders/fabric conditioner/ toilet cleaners etc and she just used anything and never had any problems so thats what i have done and never had any problems either - i use comfort or lenor usually and either bold/ fairy or persil washing powders depending whats best offer when i buy it. Only thing my septic tank doesn't seem to like is kitchen roll, oh and that stuff ladies use once a month though the odd one doesn't cause any harm (like when you have a visitor that doesn't realise). I was flushing a lot of kitchen roll when we first had my puppy but uit doesn't dissolve as well as loo roll apparently so i had to stop

I use asda own or ariel for washing powder, but i do use ecover for dishes. i dont use conditioner
nothing that didnt come the human body goes down the toilet with a bit of loo roll.
we drain all the fat and grease from cooking into jars and then bin when set and so far after 4 years the tank seems fine.
all i have to do now is train the new neighbours that i share the tank with!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Mother-In-Law has a septic tank and uses ordinary washing powder and fabric conditioner. She does have the only stuff previously eaten plus toilet paper down the toilet rule though.
