mine only does because of the meds i am on, he wants to make sure i am taking them, as i did stop them for a while. He will be calling me tomorrow, which is good as i need repeat prescriptions for all the meds i take.
I'm having my diabetic reviews by phone. Perfectly happy with that, she has all the results from my blood tests and trusts me to give my true weight and state of feet.
I hope to continue with this system, saves a lot of time and just works. She always asks if I need to see her face to face so the option is always there if needed.
Can't you book a telephone consultation on-line ? Here in Spain, we log on to a website, identify ourselves ( with a digital certificate, or ss number ) and request a telephone consultation. Various times are offered and you choose one. The dr. then will call you more or less at that time. Easy peasy.
Yes, we can now, we’ve just today downloaded the nhs app to allow us to do lots of things. Not used any of the services offered by the app yet but no doubt will do in the future.
